Our dear friend and colleague Gobena Mikael passed away on 23 September 2020.

The AFRI team will always remember Gobena’s exemplary ability in understanding the intricacy of aviation. Over decades of services as an ececutive at Ethiopian Airlines and AirRwanda , Gobena has led several strategic initiatives aimed at ensuring the provision of safe, reliable and profitable airline business in Africa and beyond.

He was a giant personality in the aviation industry and the loss is shared by many who came to know him professionally. To us at AFRI his loss is deeply felt at different levels.
